AIsa Secures Strategic Investment from Tether and HIVEN in Seed Extension Round, Pushing Total Funding Past $9 Million

Artificial intelligence infrastructure startup AIsa announced that it has successfully completed its seed extension funding round, welcoming major industry players Tether and HIVEN as strategic investors. This latest financial injection brings the San Francisco-based company’s total funding raised to date to more than $9 million, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing mission to support enterprise artificial intelligence adoption.

The newly announced strategic investors join an already robust roster of venture capital firms and global corporations that have previously backed AIsa. Among the existing investors supporting the startup are Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates, and Saison Capital, alongside several other prominent financial backers. This diverse coalition of supporters highlights the growing global interest in developing foundational infrastructure capable of sustaining enterprise-grade artificial intelligence deployment at scale.

Jordan Liu, the founder and chief executive officer of AIsa, emphasized the evolving demands of the corporate sector during a statement released on Friday. As businesses increasingly transition their artificial intelligence initiatives from basic experimental assistants into fully functional, production-ready systems, the requirements for secure and reliable operations have grown exponentially.

“Enterprise AI agents need trusted information, useful tools and a governed way to transact,” Liu said in the Friday statement. “Our vision is to build the infrastructure that enables agents to discover, access and pay for resources globally, while giving enterprises full control over permissions, spending and transactions. We are excited to welcome Tether and HIVEN as strategic investors as we accelerate the transition from AI assistants to autonomous, production-ready agents.”

The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence technologies has introduced unique operational hurdles for corporate environments. According to the company’s statement, fragmented providers, disparate software integrations, and disjointed billing systems currently make it exceptionally difficult for enterprise artificial intelligence agents to operate effectively in production environments and manage complex workloads at scale. Without a unified framework, organizations often struggle to maintain visibility, security, and cost control over the various external resources and data models their automated systems utilize.

To solve these systemic friction points, AIsa has developed a specialized architecture designed to streamline operations. The startup addresses enterprise deployment challenges by bringing resource discovery, access management, and financial transactions into a single, governed, and usage-based network, which the company has designated as the Trusted Resource and Transaction Network for Enterprise AI Agents.

This specialized infrastructure is engineered to seamlessly connect corporate enterprise agents to a wide variety of external resources. These resources include external data feeds, advanced artificial intelligence search tools, machine learning models, application programming interfaces, essential software tools, and broader industry services. By combining secure, governed access with robust usage metering, billing, and automated settlement mechanisms, AIsa aims to provide corporate clients with the comprehensive oversight required to manage autonomous workflows securely.

The participation of Tether in this latest funding round coincides with a period of strong financial performance for the prominent stablecoin issuer. Tether has continued to post substantial quarterly earnings, bolstered significantly by its extensive holdings in United States Treasury securities and conservative short-term financial instruments.

Recent financial disclosures from the stablecoin issuer revealed that Tether generated another multi-billion-dollar quarter as interest income derived from its US Treasury portfolio continued to heavily support its overall earnings. Specifically, Tether reported a net operating profit of $1.5 billion for the second quarter, driven primarily by continuous interest earned on its substantial US Treasury holdings as well as repurchase agreements, which are short-term loans backed securely by government securities.

As major financial institutions and digital asset entities continue to allocate capital toward emerging technological sectors, the intersection of blockchain-based settlement systems and artificial intelligence infrastructure is drawing increased attention from global investors. The partnership between AIsa and its strategic backers reflects a broader industry movement toward building reliable, secure, and financially integrated ecosystems capable of supporting the next generation of autonomous enterprise technologies.
